Sunset Landscape At Ding Darling NWR

We were ending the day of photography at Ding Darling NWR in Sanibel, Florida. We had stopped along the Wildlife Drive to watch the sunset and the birds flying out to roost. Got a little too dark for flight shots, so we were enjoying the sunset. I framed the shot with the tree on the left to help anchor the photo and give it a little added depth. I used f/22 to help get a starburst with the sun. I was not worried about diffraction at f/22, going more for the moody visual I had in mind. It was interesting to see the color intensify as the sun got lower on the horizon.
