Longwood Gardens Abstracts

Sometimes when I am photographing in an area, I like to shoot some subjects for use in an abstract way. They can be handy for backgrounds, general interest, transition images, artsy or muted pages for use in my ebooks. I look for textures, colors, patterns or whatever I think is interesting. Sometimes they work great and sometimes they seemed more interesting as I was shooting, but did not cut it when I tried using them. But it is still fun to try to see things differently. This just helps you “see” more visually. Wandering around Longwood Gardens gave me lots of images to work with, from textures in leaves, bark of trees, shadows, color patterns and shapes just to mention a few.
