Years ago I used to like to photograph Fireworks but have not had that opportunity in a long, long, long time. My Daughter invited us to come see the fireworks in her town last Sunday so I thought it was a good chance to try again. There are many ways to shoot them, but I prefer to use bulb and get the streaks going up and then the explosion with the shapes forming. Bulb with the shutter open as they start going up, 24mm @ f/ 11 to f/16, depending on the colors and brightness, ISO 160, w/tripod. Some look abstract while others almost look like flowers. Had a great time and it was fun to be with the Family and Grandkids. Here are a few from the hundreds shot.
