GREAT BLUE HERON FLYBY @ SUNRISE

I am going through my large library of images to post here on my blog. The image posted here was taken years ago at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge near Cambridge Maryland. We got there right before sunrise and waited for the gate to open. The Image for this post was taken at 7:1o soon after we entered the refuge. I was using a Canon 1D mkIII with a 400mm DO lens with a 1.4x Teleconverter giving me a 560mm captured image. I also quickly shot a 3 image series of images to mimic having a wider image view.
