BALD EAGLE IN THE BRANCHES @ Blackwater NWR

Here I am posting 2 images of a Bald Eagle that was some what hiding in the high branches. We were walking along the path when we saw the Eagle in the distance. We did not want to scare the Eagle off so I just took two images and we went back the other way. I was using a Canon 1D mk III with a @ 400mm DO lens with a 1.4X Teleconverter. The Canon 1D had a cropped sensor so with the camera’s crop of 1.3x and the 1.4X I had a focal length of 728mm.
