BALD EAGLE SOARING ABOVE THE TREES

I am posting a Bald Eagle image from a previous visit to the Blackwater NWR. This Bald Eagle was soaring high above me. I waited to see if it would came closer and it actually did come down right above the tree-tops. The Eagle passed over me and then flew off. It was fun to get a close image as the Eagle flew by over the tree-tops. I was using a 300-800mm lens @ 800mm. I was using a Canon 20D which had a 1.6x cropped sensor so it was like using a full frame camera with a 1,280 lens.
