SNOWY OWL ON SNOW

This post shows an image of a Snowy Owl that I photographed at Blackwater NWR many years ago. We were surprised when we saw it along the Wildlife Drive. So it was fun to see and photograph! I was using a Canon 1D mk IV with a Canon 400mm DO lens with a 2X teleconverter giving me 800mm. The Canon 1D mk IV had a 1.3 x cropped sensor giving me a final 728mm capture of the scene.
