BALD EAGLE ON BRANCH AT BLACKWATER NWR

I am still working on images I shot but never got to work on. Being retired I have lots of time now to work on my images. I saw this Bald Eagle up in the trees but it was somewhat hidden in the leaves hiding the Bald Eagle. After a while the Eagle changed position and I was able to get a few shots for my patience. I was using a Canon 1D mk III with a Canon 400mm DO lens with a Canon 1.4x teleconverter giving me a 560mm view. But the Canon 1D mkIII had a cropped 1.3 sensor giving me my 728mm view.
