Many times I use a multi- image panorama to get the image I want to show on the blog. For this post I used 15 hand-held images to blend into my finished image. I was using a Canon EOS 1D mk III with a Canon DO 400mm lens with a 1.4 x tele-converter.
I photographed this pair of Bald Eagles years ago on trip to the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Maryland. I was using a Canon 1D mkIII with a 400mm DO lens with a 1.4 X Teleconverter. The Canon 1D mkIII had 1.3x cropped sensor so with that and the 1.4x teleconverter it was like using a 728mm lens view.

This image was taken years ago at the Blackwater NWR outside Cambridge, Maryland. I have photographed Bald Eagles at many places even at a ShopRight Parking Lot, but Blackwater National…
This post is showing a Thunderbird tight 2 by 2 – 4 jet formation.
For this Post I am showing ThunderBird #1 taxing closeup by the people so they could get good pictures as it passed by.
For this Post I am showing a ThunderBird very tight 2 formation with one of the F-16s was inverted under the top F-16. Y0u can also see the inverted ThunderBird 5 has the number 5 on inverted to match the 5 position even though the F16 was upside down.
Thunderbird #7 was a two seat F16. Thunderbird #7 was flown by the Operations Officer. Image was taken years ago with an early digital FujiFilm FinePix Pro. The FujiFilm FinePix Pro was basically a modified Nikon film camera to a be Digital Camera. With the Digital Conversion it used a cropped sensor. So with the cropped sensor if using a 100mm lens it would…
Here is the third in a series of images of the USAF Thunderbirds Demonstration Team. The demonstrations are a mix of six aircraft performing formation flying and solo routines. This four-ship Diamond Formation showcases the precision and training of U.S. Air Force pilots, as well as the agile maneuverability of the F-16.
