Blackwater NWR is one of my favorite places to photograph birds, landscapes & Bald Eagles. For this post I am showing a 15 image panorama of a large group of Snow Geese along the Wildlife Drive. I shot a series handheld going from left to right to get all the Snow Geese in the image. I was using a Canon 1D mkIII with a…
For this Post I am showing a 10 image panorama. I was using a Canon EOS-1Ds mkII @ 1/1250 sec. & 400 ISO @ f/8. I was using a Canon 24-1o5mm lens @ 58mm. This image was made with a multi-image & multi-row series of images. I let PhotoShop Align & Blend all the images for the final finished panorama.
I posted this image many years ago but I decided to Post it again because it was one of my favorite Panorama images from the Backwater NWR. I was using an Olympus EM-1 camera with a Panasonic 14-140mm lens @ 32mm. The Olympus & Panasonic cameras used the same camera mount. Sometimes when I am going out to photograph I do not want to…
For this Post I thought I would Post an image that was just a single image and not a multi-image panorama. It was taken with a Canon 1D mkIV with a Canon 24-105mm lens @ 24mm. I was using an f/stop of f/4 to make the foreground a little softer so the distant stood out more. I also was using an ISO of 400.
This Post is another Multi-Image Panorama. This time I shot 12 images to get the width I wanted. I was using a Canon 1D mkIV with a Canon 24-105mm @ 85mm. I also set my camera’s ISO to 400.
This Post is another 10 image panorama but this time I am using vertical images to make a horizontal final image. I was using a Canon 1Ds MK II camera with a 24-105mm lens @ 58mm. I also had my ISO @ 400 giving me a shooting speed of 1/ 1,250. My camera was also set to f/8.
For this Post I am showing a 10 image handheld panorama that I photographed @ the Blackwater NWR in Maryland years ago. I was using a Canon 1D mkIV with a Canon 12-24mm @24mm.
I am working on images to Post here from my large catalog of images. For this Post I am showing a close-up of an Osprey flying right at me. I was at the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge looking for Bald Eagles to photograph. I was using a Canon 1D mkIII with a 400mm DO lens with a 2X Teleconverter giving me 800mm. Plus the…
Many times I use a multi- image panorama to get the image I want to show on the blog. For this post I used 15 hand-held images to blend into my finished image. I was using a Canon EOS 1D mk III with a Canon DO 400mm lens with a 1.4 x tele-converter.
I photographed this pair of Bald Eagles years ago on trip to the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Maryland. I was using a Canon 1D mkIII with a 400mm DO lens with a 1.4 X Teleconverter. The Canon 1D mkIII had 1.3x cropped sensor so with that and the 1.4x teleconverter it was like using a 728mm lens view.
