I am still going through images I photographed in past visits to my favorite areas and I am slowly working through adjusting my files. The featured image is a sunrise from the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Oceanville, New Jersey. I was using a 12 – 24mm zoom @ 12mm. I shot 6 overlapping images with a lot of overlapping on each because I was shooting wide @ 12mm. If you do more shots when shooting @12mm they overlap more, so it seems to blend better automatically in Photoshop.
Sunrise Along J.N. Ding Darling NWR Wildlife Drive

This is a Sunrise Panorama (3 images @ 150mm) along the Wildlife Drive at J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. This spot is just a little before where I was photographing the Reddish Egret in the previous post. We got there early to get the sunrise and to be set up for when the birds start to fly in and gather in the water and on the sand dune area.

PreDawn Sunrise

I got up early to try photographing the Pre Dawn Sunrise. I liked the mist coming off the lake. I shot a series of exposures and blended them together. Not as a HDR image, but more as an image blending darks and lights together. Featured image, 12mm, main exposure – 0.8 sec @ f/8, 1250 ISO, bracketed with exposure compensation, +&- 3 stops, choosing a few to blend.
