I finally got a chance to go through some of my images from Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA taken back in September. These are from the Water Lily Gardens in the Conservatory. They put a black color in the water so the flowers really stand out against the dark water.
Pink Water Lily Panorama

I was watching for Dragonflies by the pond, but it was a quiet day. I saw this nice Pink Water Lily and decided to try a 4 shot panorama of the Lily. I was using a 400mm lens with a 1.4X teleconverter and extension tubes because I was watching for Dragonflies. I shot 2 upper sections and 2 lower sections with an overlap on all edges. I assembled them manually in Photoshop using masks for the overlaps and lined up the 4 frames.

While photographing Dragonflies & Damselflies at my pond, I saw this Water Lily and liked the light on it. I only had my 400mm DO lens so I shot 5 frames handheld, then assembled them in Photoshop for my final image. Then back to the Dragonflies.
