I am going through my backup drives to clean-up images I do not need or chose the best images taken when I photographed a series of images to choose from at a later time. This image was taken years ago at the Blackwater NWR outside Cambridge, Maryland. I have photographed Bald Eagles at many places even at a ShopRight Parking Lot, but Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is my favorite for photographing Bald Eagles. Usually you need a very long lens to get close images or use software to uprez the image. Here I was using a Canon 1D MK III with a 400mm lens with a 2X Teleconverter. The Canon 1D had a 1.3 crop sensor so with the 400mm DO lens with a 2x teleconverter & the 1.3 cropped sensor Ibasically had a 1,04omm image.
